ANARBOR - Drugstore Diet
When I first heard this song it wasn’t one of my favorites by any means. After hearing “Gypsy Woman” I felt this CD was going in a different direction and the poppy-ness really bothered me at first. However, it has sense grown on me and I find the lyrics very relatable and catchy at the same time. I was never worried about how this song would go over live, I knew it would fit into Anarbor’s live show well. At Warped I got to see it live and it was fun, definitely a great song for a live set. I would even bet it would sound good acoustically as well.
All the elements of an Anarbor hit are in this song: awesome, catchy lyrics, great vocals, great harmonies (I’m a sucker for those harmonies), and instrumentally sounds. Overall, what’s not to like? Nothing, that’s what.
